Jacob Taylor has lived a life filled with unique ministry experiences beginning with time spent on the coast of Taiwan living with missionaries, to serving as a student leader in his youth group in Alaska, he’s been blessed with many experiences people only dream of.  After answering the call to go into full time ministry, he gained experience, and a heart for people, as a youth pastor in Iowa, and learned valuable lessons, like how to patch holes in walls after lock-ins.  He’s also learned to do life with people as a pastor in southeast Kansas before coming to Fir Road in May of 2022, and learned that you truly can never fully anticipate everything you’ll experience in ministry. He’s always willing to do life with people, no matter what that involves. 

If he’s not doing ministry than you can probably find him watching sports, he’s a Chiefs fan, or out connecting with God through nature on a hiking trail, a river, or any scenic place.

His wonderful family includes his wife Misty, and four kids Paityn, Paxtyn, Thayden and Taviyn.  If they are doing something together as a family its usually around a table, either playing an intense game, sharing in a lively conversation, or eating some delicious food.
